MBC’s Upcoming <Flower of Prison> Drama Press Conference

An upcoming and anticipating historical drama
entitled <Flower of Prison> by MBC for celebrating its 55th
anniversary of establishment. The drama will be scheduled to be on air on MBC
this Saturday, April the 30th (10:00pm KST) and held its first drama
press conference today at MBC Sangam open hall inviting the casts and the renowned
director, Lee Byung-hoon, whom is also a director of a several winning drama
awards, and one of his famous drama is MBC’s <Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in the
Palace)> in 2003, which gained huge popularity and ratings.
The star for this upcoming drama
will portray a story of a girl who was born in the prison, Ok-nyeo (Jin
Se-yeon) where she encounters unexpected journey to seek for her mother’s past
truth, and her counterpart, Yoon Tae-won (Go Soo) plays a significant character
plot for Ok-nyeo as she pursue her storyline throughout the drama.
According to the press conference held earlier, the director, Lee Byung-hoon expected the audiences to appreciate the story, sets, and whole production for the upcoming drama, both locally and also internationally.
Both the actor and actress cheerfully stated that the chemistry between the two roles were special, and the filming set was aesthetically built to fit the atmosphere of the drama and the actors.
<Flower of Prison> drama will also aim for global audiences including China, Japan, America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and more countries to premiere in captivating the hearts of Korean drama lovers.
